I'd love to work with you

Are you frequently experiencing anxiety and avoidance in everyday situations, or do you find yourself overwhelmed and distracted by memories of past events? Do you find it challenging to establish boundaries and communicate your needs?
I get that. You want to be more fully present with your friends, family, or at work, and live a full life where you are able to tolerate distressing emotions in stride. I have extensive experience helping people navigate these struggles. In our work together, we will focus on exploring and developing meaning from your personal narrative, lessen distress related to traumatic material, and building tolerance for anxiety-provoking situations.
Addressing trauma and/or anxious behaviors can often feel like an intimidating process, and finding a therapist with whom you can experience validation and non-judgment sets the stage for real, impactful change. I take care to honor each client’s personal experience and collaborate throughout the therapeutic process. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and welcome clients of all races and ethnicities. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Registered Art Therapist (ATR), and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), with 12 years of counseling experience ranging from inpatient care, crisis-oriented care, and community mental health. I utilize a combination of approaches unique to each client’s needs, including but not limited to art therapy, EMDR, CPT, and CBT. I look forward to hearing from you.
